Rajdhan Metal takes pride in in its production of Carbon Steel Swage Nipple. Swage nipples are utilized to transfer fluid flow from one pipe size to another. Swage nipples with threaded ends, bevelled ends, or plain ends are available for the customer. Swage nipples can join two pipes of various sizes while also changing the diameter of the pipe. Concentric and eccentric swage nipples are two types of pipe swage nipples. For vertical pipes, concentric swage nipples are typically used, while eccentric swage nipples are typically used for horizontal pipelines. Eccentric reducers can be mounted with their top flat or bottom flat surfaces facing outward. For example, flat top installation can be utilized at the suction side of pumps to prevent air buildup in the pipe. A big bubble that eventually causes the pump to stop or produce cavitation when sucked into the pump could form as a result of the steady buildup of air in a concentric reducer. Condensed water or oil can drain at low spots because horizontal gas reducers are usually eccentric and oriented with their bottoms flat.
What is Swage Nipple?
Swage Nipple Threaded Fittings are made of carbon and are intended for use in high-temperature applications, such as furnace parts and heat treatment machinery. As a result, situations, where temperatures might reach up to 1150°C for continuous service and 1035°C for intermittent service, could be employed with carbon threaded swage nipples. A low carbon variant of the carbon steel form is the BS3799 Screwed Forged Swage Nipple. In locations where the Screwed Swage Nipple is exposed to extreme or high temperatures, the low carbon version of the Threaded Swage Nipple dimensions can be utilized.
These steel fittings can be used in settings where the Forged Threaded Swage Nipple is exposed to reducing sulphur atmospheres including H2S due to the high chromium and medium nickel content in the threaded eccentric swage nipple. Therefore, swage nipples with a threaded end are frequently employed in environments with moderate carburising conditions. We advise utilizing the ASTM A105 CS Threaded Swage Nipples in petrochemical facilities, which frequently face mildly carburising atmospheres.
